Richard Rogers’ Shellhouse, built in a day.

Shellhouse by Richard Rogers

A composition of Precast panels and frames, this structures shows us the importance of time, simplicity of materials and economics towards design. In the next video posted on The Guardian, there is much more to it, than it meets the eye. I consider this to be a good start towards alternative housing, although not encouraged for every country. In the video, you will see how the structure comes up in no time although all mechanical systems and foundations are missing. As this is just a statement encouraging the revolution of construction, maybe give it a few more days and it will be a filled-shell.
